DMCA Policy

Milan Cortina Conclude respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, Milan Cortina Conclude will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Milan Cortina Conclude website or other online services (the "Site") that are reported to Milan Cortina Conclude's Designated Copyright Agent, identified in the sample notice below.

Filing a Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to Milan Cortina Conclude's Designated Copyright Agent.

Upon receipt of the Notice as described below, Milan Cortina Conclude will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged content from the Site.

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed: Describe the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing: Provide information reasonably sufficient to permit Milan Cortina Conclude to locate the material on the Site. This may include URLs or other specific location identifiers.
  3. Your contact information: Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
  4. Statement of good faith belief: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of accuracy: Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Electronic or physical signature: Provide your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).

Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that material you posted on the Site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with Milan Cortina Conclude by submitting written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent identified above. Pursuant to the DMCA, the Counter-Notification must include substantially the following:

  • Identification of the material: Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled.
  • Statement under penalty of perjury: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your contact information: Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Milan Cortina Conclude may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • Electronic or physical signature: Your electronic or physical signature.

The DMCA allows us to restore the removed content if the party filing the original DMCA Notice does not file a court action against you within ten business days of receiving the copy of your Counter-Notice.
